it was Ruthie's 21st birthday!
the littlest lamb also turn two today.
the kids had tons of fun at the river early part of the day and had their filled with smoothies,pizza and cakes, and also the African special thingy which was very yummy.

it was nice to have a place to recuperate from our road trip!
we spent some time at the lake and enjoyed a quiet evening.

"Mom, i lost my contacts"

this is the last thing you want to hear when your boys came up from the water!
my seventeen year old called out to me as i walked towards them sensing something wasn't quite right.
the picture on the left shown the little one found one contact on his cheek, and couldn't find the other...guess what, i found it (0n the edge of the pool) right in front of them - there is no small miracle!!!

Missouri, Day 10 - 12

we spent two wonderful days at a farm.
the boys were supposed to help paint the fences but the paint were not ready in time.
two days of carefree living - boating, swiming, biking, exploring the cave and get to shoot the bb...in their own words: priceless!

on the road again - Day 1

we set off today on a 18 day (Jun 3 - 20) road trip and we will drive approximately 4000km in our 10 year old vehicle which has already clocked 177,600 km.
sweet Lelah packed us fuel for the road which kept us going for the nine hour drive to Ohio.
the kids wasted no time to do their favorite things: play chess, relax in the hot tub, sit on the swing and best of all, i get to catch up with my sleep!

our Spanish friend brought supper and as the weather was perfect we enjoy dining alfresco.
after a week of madness to packed, repaired, cleaned (and with freshly painted wall), it was nice to be able to relax as we put the house on market tommorow.
