Apple diet

the apple diet -
which mean for three days you eat nothing but apple!
I like apple and thought I should just give it a try.
everything was going according to plan and between breakfast and lunch I had about four apples.

then the eye migraine hit me.
the last attack was quite a while ago and thought may be I played too much sudoku lately, I was trying to finish the book.

by late afternoon, I had another round of migraine which was unusual and I was desperate for answer.....of course you will not find the cause of migraine but here were some of the triggers, and to my surprise I was guilty of eating too much nuts the past two days; sleep too little, and for the first time I added a lot of preserved bean curd in my chicken soup last night!
it doesn't help I skipped a meal today - technically I did not skipped a meal, just modified diets....oh well, i'll just have to try the diet another day!

Fund raising

the youth are raising fund for their trip to DCLA (youth conference)
and the mission trip to Biloxi in July.

so instead of the usual catered Chinese food, the youth prepared hotdogs, sandwiches, pasta salad and fruit salad.

they raised about $630, not bad for their first attempt!
